NAPFA ♥ 9:45 PM
ARGHHHHHH! My whole body is aching now.
Went for NAPFA with bx yesterday. And yar, i failed my 2.4km run. Sadded.
Before we gals go for NAPFA, we didnt aim for a pass cos we were saying that we will surely fail de. We go just so that we can get a cert for our port folio. But, who want to just get a cert of participation. I mean, of course we do want to get a nice cert, a cert that show GOLD, SILVER or BRONZE award for NAPFA, so that it will look good in our port folio.
Hmmm, i aimed for a bronze award actually. I'm glad that i passed the 5 stations. At first, i'm worried for my shuttle run and inclined pull up. I'm afraid that i cannot even pass but thank God, i managed to pass. (For the shuttle run, quite a few people fell down half way through. I myself nearly fell down too. Dont know is it cos that the ground was slippery?)
I really worked hard for the 5 stations. But 2.4km run is really a killing one for me. Aimed to get at least one point for it, but yar, one point also cannot get ar. I kinda regretted. At the start, i kept walking, is only after the turning point that i really started to run. Anyway, is all to late to say now.
Nevertheless, i still enjoyed the whole thing. Cos this may be the last time i'm taking NAPFA? Haha. Get to know IFC students like Kar Yee and Selina. I mean got see them in sch but never really talk. But through this, got the chance to talk to them. They are really nice and friendly people. Through this NAPFA, it also tells me that i should exercise more. Yar man! Haha. Oh yar, btw, my weight had increased by 2kg and my height decreased by 0.4cm. Oh man! We blamed the machine cos most of us had decreased in height and increased in weight. Haha.
Below are my NAPFA results:
Standing Broad Jump: 169 (2 points)
Sit and Reach: 55 (5 points)
Inclined Pull Up: 17 (4 points)
Sit-Up: 33 (5 points)
Shuttle Run: 12.3s (2 points)
2.4km Run: 19.41min (nil)
Yup. Kinda sad. Failed 2.4km run = Failed ALL. So sain.
Haha. But yar, like what bx told me, its not bad le lar. We haven been running or should i say haven been exercising for 3 years already. Can get this kind of results is not bad le. Haha. Thanks bx. Yup, maybe i should give a pad on my shoulder, as a form of encouragement to myself. Haha. Hmmm, im still thinking if i wanna re-take, meaning gotta take the 5 stations again. =.=" Why cant only take the 2.4km run itself? Yar lo. See how first ba. If really re-take, i make sure i'm going to pass all man! Haha.
Wanna also thanks boyfriend for staying throughout while im taking my NAPFA. I feel so bad cos i forbid him to stay in the sports hall. Haha. Dont wanna let him see me do the NAPFA. Opps! I know im such a bully. But still, he is so understanding. Haha. Though i didnt say, but inside my heart, i know and i know that i dont have to be scared, cos you are always there for me!
